The Academy honored the memory of three outstanding Ukrainian chemist scientists.

On May 19, 2026, the General Assembly of the Chemistry Department of the NAS of Ukraine was held in Kyiv, dedicated to the 90th anniversaries of academicians S.V. Volkov, V.V. Skopenko, and V.D. Pokhodenko.
