On October 8-9, 2026, Kyiv Academic University, together with the M.M. Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of the NAS of Ukraine, will hold an online webinar dedicated to working with research data and the DataverseUA, the NAS of Ukraine Open Data Repository.
Postgraduate students, young scientists, researchers from NAS of Ukraine institutions and Core Facilities Centers, university academic staff, and specialists working with research data and consulting on their placement in DataverseUA as well, are invited to participate in the webinar.
On October 8, participants will consider FAIR principles and FAIR data, research data management, and the structure and functions of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Federation as well.
On October 9, the webinar will cover the functional capabilities of the DataverseUA, the NAS of Ukraine Open Data Repository, FAIR data and FAIR computational workflows, and metadata schemes as well.
The program includes practical sessions for dataset authors and data curators. Participants will work on uploading and organizing data, metadata and data identification, licenses and distribution conditions, data publication, and dataset management.
Registered participants who complete the training and pass the final test will receive a certificate of completion of professional development courses – 12 hours of training (0.4 credits).
