She chose mathematics with her heart because solving problems gave her the greatest pleasure.
She wants girls who dream of science to be confident that their dreams can come true.
Now she knows that fear of the new and unknown is not a reason to run away, but a challenge.
She is Olena Vaneieva, a talented mathematician, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine, leading researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine, mother of three sons.
"Doing what you love, solving problems that are interesting to you personally – having this freedom is what I consider success," says Olena.
