Journalists from the online publication "Village" visited the Main Astronomical Observatory (MAO) of the NAS of Ukraine, where they spoke with its employees. The scientists talked about the history of the observatory's creation, the unique equipment used by researchers in their work, the applied and fundamental research currently being conducted at the institution, the achievements of Ukrainian astronomers, as well as the losses suffered by astronomical science due to the full-scale war.
