Interview with scientist-sociologist, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Dembitskyi

29.10.2025

The Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine annually conducts a large-scale study – the monitoring "Ukrainian Society." This unique and most objective series of sociological observations allows us to find out how the moods, values, and expectations of society change under the influence of historical events.

War, socio-economic challenges, shifts in world politics inevitably affect Ukrainians' perception of the state, the future, and their own role in society. How have priorities, trust levels, self-identification, and expectations for the future changed among the citizens of Ukraine? About this and more – in the new episode of the program "About Science. Competently," which is broadcast on the YouTube channel of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The author and host of the program is the Vice President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko.

The guest of the studio is the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Dembitskyi.
