Today, quantum technologies are rapidly developing worldwide, and the creation of a quantum computer, which promises to change existing classical approaches to computing and be resistant to errors, is a prospect for the near future. Quantum programming offers new opportunities for solving fundamental problems and opens up broad prospects for practical application.
What is the quantum world without complex formulas, why are there so many myths surrounding it, when can we expect breakthroughs in quantum technologies, and what role do Ukrainian scientists play in this? To understand these important and relevant questions, the new episode of the program "About Science. Competently," which is released on the YouTube channel of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, features Professor of the Department of Theoretical Physics named after Professor Ivan Vakarchuk at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Khrystyna Hnatenko.
The author and host of the program is Vice President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko.
