Biotechnologies provide the opportunity to control life at the deepest level. One of the keys to this is the so-called cytoskeleton – an invisible system inside the cell that determines its shape, movement, development, and even its ability to withstand stress. What exactly is the cytoskeleton? How can it be reprogrammed? How can this knowledge be useful to people, particularly in the fields of agriculture, medicine, and more? These questions were addressed in an interview for the program "About Science.
