1 From May 11 to 13, 2026, the XXIII Scientific Youth Conference "Problems and Achievements of Modern Chemistry," dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the birth of M.D. Zelinsky, will be held at the O.V. Bogatsky Physical-Chemical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Odesa.
The conference will be held in two sections:
- Section of organic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and biotechnology.
- Section of inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and ecology.
Young scientists, students, and chemistry specialists up to 35 years old (40 for postdoctoral and doctoral candidates) are invited to participate in the conference, with no age restrictions for co-authors and speakers of plenary reports. Several abstracts from one speaker are allowed.
The conference traditionally takes the form of a review-competition of young scientists' works. The best works will be awarded certificates and monetary prizes.
Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.
Report format: oral, poster.

- submission of applications and abstracts – by April 13;
- payment of the organizational fee – by April 13;
- submission of poster reports – by May 8;
- offline participant registration – May 11;

Registration and submission of abstracts
The conference materials will be published in a separate collection.
Following the conference, participants will have the opportunity to prepare and submit full scientific articles, expanded based on the abstracts, to the scientific journal "Bulletin of Odessa National University. Chemistry".
