The Institute of Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the NAS of Ukraine invites you to participate in the 50th Annual International Conference of Young Scientists "Cold in Biology and Medicine – 2026," which will be held on May 20-21, 2026.
Young scientists, graduate students, and students of higher education institutions are invited to participate in the conference.
Format: remote (on the Zoom platform).
The conference will operate in three areas: cryobiology, cryomedicine, biotechnology.
Conference topics:
- fundamental cryobiology;
- low-temperature storage of biological objects and three-dimensional structures;
- cell and tissue cultivation;
- nanobiotechnology, cell and tissue engineering;
- use of low temperatures in medicine during martial law in Ukraine;
- therapeutic hypothermia and cryosurgery;
- experimental and clinical transplantation, regenerative medicine;
- latest tools and technologies in cryobiology;
- biodiversity preservation, biobanking infrastructure, and best practices;
- mechanisms of adaptation to the natural conditions of the Arctic, Antarctic, and high mountains.
Conference language: English.
Presentation formats: oral and poster presentations.
Participation in the conference is free!
To participate in the conference, it is necessary to fill out the Registration Form by April 1, 2026.
Participants' works will be published in the electronic version of the abstract collection and in the journal "Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine," which is indexed in the Scopus database.
All participants will receive certificates.
