Interview of the academician of the NAS of Ukraine Valeriy Heiets to the Italian news agency “Agenda Domani”

On the eve of the High-Level Conference on Ukraine's Recovery – 2025, which took place on July 10–11, 2025, in Rome, the director of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Valeriy Heyets, gave a detailed interview to the Italian news agency “Agenda Domani,” in which he spoke, in particular, about: • the impact of the full-scale war on economic research and the scientific research activities of the Institute; • the current economic situation in Ukraine and priorities for stabilizing and building economic resilience with a view to future reconstruction and development; • international support for Ukraine and its economic resilience; • expectations regarding the outcomes of the Ukraine Recovery Conference – 2025 in Rome; • the possibilities for Ukraine to implement the approach of social quality in its post-war recovery strategy; • Ukraine’s potential contribution to the global dialogue on human-centered, inclusive, and sustainable development (Second World Summit on Social Development, Doha, November 4–6, 2025); • forecasts for the future: Ukraine and Europe.
