The article by advisor at the directorate, head of the tumor process monitoring and therapy design department of the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Vasyl Chekhun, "The Modern Landscape of Innovative Technologies in Optimizing the Quality of Life of Cancer Patients," analyzes the transformation of oncology strategy in the context of the development of post-genomic technologies and precision medicine. The author emphasizes the importance of integrating omics technologies and cybernetic solutions for a deeper understanding of biological systems and the formation of new approaches to cancer treatment.

The article notes that despite scientific achievements such as genome decoding, a complete victory over cancer remains unattainable. Therefore, the focus shifts to the chronicization of malignant processes and improving the quality of life of patients. This becomes especially relevant in the conditions of war in Ukraine, where environmental and psychological factors contribute to the increase in oncopathologies.

The author also draws attention to the insufficient focus on quality of life assessment in clinical studies and the need to develop individualized approaches to the nutrition of cancer patients. In conclusion, he calls for transdisciplinary cooperation and the implementation of innovative technologies to enhance the effectiveness of treatment and the quality of life of patients.
