The COVID-19 pandemic has overturned our understanding of global health care, affecting not only the medical field but also the economy, politics, and other areas of social life.
After three years of fighting the virus, many questions remain – what is the origin of the virus, was vaccination effective, and is humanity ready for future similar pandemics. These and other questions were addressed in an interview for the program "About Science. Competently" (hosted by academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko), which airs on the YouTube channel of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, by the head of the Laboratory of Innovative Biotechnology at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Biological Sciences Zenoviy Tkachuk.
