June issue of the journal "Bulletin of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" (No. 6, 2026)

The issue of the journal "Bulletin of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" for June 2026 has been published.

• "Ukraine in the Geopolitical Space: Historical Dimension" (leading researcher of the Department of Historical Regional Studies at the Institute of History of Ukraine of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Rostyslav Sossa);
• "Development of a Method for Growing Diamond Single Crystals on a Seed under High Pressure and Temperature Using Convective Carbon Transport" (senior researcher of the Department of Single Crystals of Superhard Materials at the V.M. Bakul Institute for Superhard Materials of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Technical Sciences Andriy Burchenya);
• "Antiviral Activity of Oligoribonucleotides and Their Complexes with D-Mannitol: Possible Mechanisms of Action against Influenza and Coronavirus" (senior researcher of the Department of Enzymology of Protein Synthesis at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Biological Sciences Nataliya Melnychuk);
• "Struggle for Statehood and Identity: Ukrainian Military Emigration between the Two World Wars (1920–1939)" (researcher of the Department of Historical Regional Studies at the Institute of History of Ukraine of the NAS of Ukraine, PhD Andriy Sydorenko).

In the section "Scientometrics and Publishing," an article is published by the director of the I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the NAS of Ukraine, chief editor of the journal "Zoodiversity," Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Vitaliy Kharchenko, head of the Department of Entomology and Scientific Collections of the I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the NAS of Ukraine, deputy chief editor of the journal "Zoodiversity," Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Valeriy Korneyev, and scientific editor of the journal "Zoodiversity" Nataliya Filimonova "Phantom References and the Peer Review Crisis: How Artificial Intelligence Tests the Resilience of Scientific Publications".

In the section "People of Science," an article is presented by senior researcher of the Department of Free Radicals at the L.V. Pisarzhevsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Yaroslav Kurys, and director of the L.V. Pisarzhevsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Vitaliy Pavlishchuk "A Lifetime in Active Search. On the 80th Anniversary of Academician V.H. Koshechko of the NAS of Ukraine".
