The M.M. Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of the NAS of Ukraine invites you to participate in the COST-COSY School "Computational Physics of Confined Systems: From Life to Material Sciences".
The event will take place June 25–27, 2026 in Kyiv within the framework of the COST Action CA21101 "Confined Molecular Systems: From a New Generation of Materials to the Stars" (COSY) project.
The school is aimed at students and young researchers working in the field of computer modeling of biological systems and materials science. The program will be dedicated to modern modeling methods, as well as the combination of computational, theoretical, and experimental approaches to the study of such systems. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their own scientific results and discuss them with lecturers and colleagues.
School Topics
• Structure of biomolecules (DNA and proteins).
• Fluids in confined environments and bulk phase.
• Novel materials.
Format: hybrid – with the possibility of both in-person and online participation.
