With deep sorrow, we announce that as a result of enemy shelling on the night of July 2, 2026, Serhiy Vitaliyovych Kolisnyk, lead software engineer of the Institute of Software Systems of the NAS of Ukraine, was killed.
Serhiy Kolisnyk was born on April 28, 1971. He began his career in 1994 at the Institute of Software Systems of the NAS of Ukraine as a Category II engineer. Over more than 30 years of work at the Institute, he proved himself to be a responsible and qualified specialist.
Serhiy Kolisnyk worked on the analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and maintenance of network software, carried out work on designing complex computer systems, and constantly worked on improving his qualifications.
He earned the respect and gratitude of his colleagues due to his professionalism and dedication to his profession, sensitivity, and kindness.
Serhiy Kolisnyk is survived by his mother and daughter.
