September 29 – October 1, 2026, at the Institute of Hydromechanics of the NAS of Ukraine (Kyiv, 8/4 Marii Kapnist St.) the X International Scientific and Practical Conference "Computer Hydromechanics" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of this Institute will take place.
Organizers: Institute of Hydromechanics of the NAS of Ukraine with the support of the International Association of Research, Educational and Industrial Groups ERCOFTAC (European Research Community On Flow, Turbulence And Combustion).
Founded in 2008, the conference has united researchers and engineers from various fields (including aerospace, energy, biomedical, and transport engineering) and has served as a platform for professional communication, collaboration, and exchange of ideas between Ukrainian scientists and the international research community.
Thematic focus of the event is on the application of computational methods in aero- and hydromechanics, as well as on evaluating the effectiveness of numerical approaches for solving a wide range of scientific and engineering problems.
Conference topics:
- computer modeling of continuum mechanics problems;
- numerical methods in continuum mechanics;
- hydrodynamic stability problems;
- turbulence;
- control of vortex structures in flows;
- computer methods for processing experimental data;
- acoustics.
A separate session for student works is planned.
