On June 17, 2026, a roundtable "Research Infrastructures in the Scientific and Innovation System of Ukraine" will be held, organized within the framework of the RIFF project of the European Union's Horizon Europe program.
One of the key tasks of the RIFF project is the preparation of a “Roadmap for the Restoration and Improvement of Research Infrastructures in Ukraine”. An open competition for the selection of facilities for inclusion in this Roadmap is currently underway. Applications can be submitted until July 13, 2026.
During the roundtable, participants will learn about the current state of regulatory and legal support for research infrastructures in Ukraine, the principles of their organization and functioning, and the experience of European Union countries in developing national roadmaps in this area as well..
Special attention will be paid to the practical aspects of preparing proposals for participation in the RIFF open competition and inclusion in the future Roadmap.
Heads of Core Facility Centers, responsible for the maintenance and development of objects that constitute national heritage, heads of scientific departments and organizations that plan to submit or have already submitted applications for the competition are invited to participate.
The event will be held in a hybrid format.
