February 20, 2026, at the Kyiv University of Law (KUL) of the NAS of Ukraine, a solemn ceremony
of diploma awarding to master's graduates took place.
The event was opened by the university rector, Professor Yuriy Boshytskyi. In his speech, he emphasized the high mission of a lawyer as a bearer of justice and a guarantor of the rule of law. He also thanked the faculty for their many years of dedicated work, mentorship, and devotion to the teaching vocation, as well as expressed gratitude to the graduates' parents for supporting and raising a worthy generation of young professionals.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests – prominent scientists, educators, public figures, and representatives of professional circles: member of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Pyrozhkov, director of the Institute of World History of the NAS of Ukraine, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine Andriy Kudryachenko, president of the NGO "Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine," Doctor of Political Sciences Petro Myronenko, rector of the National Music Academy of Ukraine, Professor Maksym Tymoshenko, president of the Cultural and Artistic Charity Foundation "Kyiv-Classic" Yevheniya Basalaieva, chief editor of the journal "Legal Bulletin of Ukraine," Doctor of Law Viktor Kovalskyi, Chairman of the Board of the Charitable Organization "International Charitable Foundation 'Children of War'" Eduard Bagirov, Chairman of the Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine Rovshan Tagiev, and others.
Each of the honored guests addressed the graduates with warm congratulations, and academician of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Pyrozhkov announced a congratulatory message from the President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Anatoliy Zahorodniy.
The graduates were also congratulated on completing their studies by the heads of the university departments. They noted their scientific achievements and wished them confidence, professional courage, dedication to their chosen field, and success in building a legal Ukraine.
In addition to honorary awards and sincere congratulations, the graduates received valuable gifts from the university’s partners.
The solemn diploma awarding ceremony became an important event in the lives of the graduates and the university, a symbol of persistent work, scientific inquiry, and faith in one’s own abilities, and Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine once again confirmed its high status as one of the leading higher education institutions.
