The selection of applications for inclusion in the National Roadmap of Research Infrastructures is ongoing.

15.04.2026

The RIFF project of the European Union Framework Programme "Horizon Europe", which also involves institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, announces an open call for applications for inclusion in the National Roadmap of Research Infrastructures.

Scientific institutions, higher education institutions, public organizations, any legal entities or their associations that have scientific units and provide research services are invited to participate in the competition.

Based on the results of the competitive selection by expert groups formed upon the submission of consortium participants for each thematic area according to the classification of the European Strategic Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), applications will be included in the Roadmap.

The RIFF project does not provide any financial support for institutions whose applications are included in the roadmap. At the same time, it will be presented at ESFRI meetings, the European Commission, among national governments of European Union countries, as well as at international forums focused on the recovery and support of the scientific sector of Ukraine, in order to attract foreign partners, additional funding from donors, and so on.

Participation in the open competition will increase the visibility of the institution both nationally and internationally.

Applications from scientific institutions and organizations, as well as from their associations (consortia), and other legal entities that meet the criteria specified in the open call conditions must be submitted exclusively in Ukrainian.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 13, 2026.

Questions that may arise during the processing of the Self-Assessment Forms as part of the application will be addressed in two webinars scheduled for April 21 (10:00–11:00 Kyiv time) and June 5 (11:00–12:00 Kyiv time) this year.

The working language of the webinars is Ukrainian.
