The President of the NAS of Ukraine met with young inventors of Kyiv on the occasion of the International Day of Child Inventors.

Following a good tradition for the International Day of Child Inventors, celebrated annually on January 17, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, academician of NAS Ukraine Anatoliy Zahorodniy, met with the students of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences of Student Youth and presented them with Certificates of Appreciation from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Department of Extracurricular Education of the Department of Preschool, General Secondary, and Extracurricular Education of the Kyiv City State Administration Department of Education and Science Viktoriya Tkachenko, the Director of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences of Student Youth, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Iryna Polishchuk, her deputy Yevhen Kulish, the Director of the Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky" Yuriy Kyrychkov, as well as scientific supervisors of the students.

In his greeting to the young talents, Anatoliy Zahorodniy noted the high achievements and victories of the students of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences in many nationwide youth scientific and technical creativity competitions and numerous international competitions held in Poland, Tunisia, the USA, Indonesia, Croatia, Romania, and other countries.

Welcoming remarks were also made by the Head of the Department of Extracurricular Education of the Kyiv City State Administration Department of Education and Science Viktoriya Tkachenko and the Director of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Iryna Polishchuk.

The President of NAS Ukraine presented Certificates of Appreciation from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for significant achievements in invention and research activities and personal contribution to the development of the youth scientific movement in Kyiv to the best young inventors of the capital, who have repeatedly become winners of the most prestigious international and domestic competitions and Olympiads.

The awards were received by students of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences of Student Youth:

Mykhailo Viktorovych Bilous – 9th-grade student of the Private Educational Institution "Clarisse Verbis Gymnasium";

Sofiya Andriivna Voznyak – 11th-grade student of the Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky";

Tetyana Oleksandrivna Zhuravel – 10th-grade student of the Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky";

Daryna Oleksandrivna Zembovych – 11th-grade student of the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;

  • Certificates of Appreciation from NAS Ukraine and the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for dedicated work with the young inventors of the capital and high achievements in working with gifted youth were received by the education excellence awardee, teacher-methodologist Yuriy Vasylovych Kyrychkov – Director of the Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky" and teacher-methodologist Viktoriya Mykolaivna Kovalova – methodologist for scientific and practical work, Ukrainian literature teacher of the Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky", as well as scientific supervisors of the awarded students:
