The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine announces competitions for the award of Presidential Scholarships of Ukraine for Young Scientists and NAS of Ukraine Scholarships for Young Scientists, and also begins the certification of current scholarship holders. The relevant decision was made by the order of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine dated February 20, 2026, No. 83.
Competitions are conducted in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 23.08.1994 No. 582 "On Presidential Scholarships of Ukraine for Young Scientists" (as amended) and the resolutions of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine dated 31.08.2022 No. 258 and No. 259.
By March 20, 2026, scientific institutions of the NAS of Ukraine must submit to the relevant departments of the Academy (for institutions under the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine – to the Commission on Work with Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine):
materials of candidates for the award of Presidential Scholarships of Ukraine and NAS of Ukraine Scholarships for Young Scientists;
reports on the scientific work of young scientists – current scholarship holders of the President of Ukraine and NAS of Ukraine together with extracts from the minutes of meetings of scientific councils regarding their certification and approval of reports.
