The Identification Committee of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine has announced a competition for the selection of members of the Scientific Council of the Foundation.
The competition involves filling vacant positions in three sections:
- 7 positions – in the section of natural, technical sciences and mathematics;
- 5 positions – in the section of biology, medicine, and agricultural sciences;
- 4 positions – in the section of social and humanitarian sciences.
Members of the Scientific Council are elected for a term of 4 years.
The right to nominate candidates belongs to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, national sectoral academies of sciences, research institutions, higher education institutions, scientific organizations, and groups of scientists (at least five people). Self-nomination is not allowed.
Candidates must meet the established qualification requirements and represent the relevant scientific field.
The announcement of the competition, candidate requirements, and the list of necessary documents are published on the Government Portal in the section "Activities of Advisory Bodies" → "National Council of Ukraine on Science and Technology Development" → "Scientific Committee" → "Activities of the Scientific Committee" → "2026".
Documents are submitted electronically.
The deadline for submission is September 14, 2026 (until 23:59).
The competition results are expected to be published by October 12, 2026 on the website of the National Council of Ukraine on Science and Technology Development.
