The fourth scientific project competition within the framework of the "Magnetism for Ukraine" program by the Magnetic Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE Magnetics Society).
Based on the results of the competitive selection conducted by recognized international experts, in 2026, 13 research projects were selected for funding. Financial support will be provided to 47 researchers in the field of magnetism, including representatives of institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: V.G. Baryakhtar Institute of Magnetism, Kyiv Academic University, B.I. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering, V.E. Lashkaryov Institute of Semiconductor Physics, V.M. Bakul Institute for Superhard Materials, G.V. Kurdyumov Institute of Metal Physics, Technical Center. Funded projects will be carried out in research institutions in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy. In total, 37 applications were submitted for the competition in 2025.
The winners are encouraged to join the IEEE Magnetics Society, attend conferences organized by the Society, and publish the results of their research in journals published by the IEEE Magnetics Society.

The "Magnetism for Ukraine" initiative by the Magnetic Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE Magnetics Society) was created to promote research in the field of magnetism, strengthen the professional community of physicists in magnetism, and support the restoration and development of science and technology in Ukraine. To conduct and oversee the competition, IEEE cooperates with the Ukrainian Science and Technology Center (STCU) and the V.G. Baryakhtar Institute of Magnetism of the NAS of Ukraine.
