On April 8, 2026, the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine at its regular meeting awarded the NAS of Ukraine Prizes "For the Popularization of Science" based on the results of the 2025 competition.
Thus, the NAS of Ukraine Prize "For the Popularization of Science" in the nomination "Best popular science publication (series of publications) about scientific developments and achievements, problems of science development and/or publication of periodic printed/electronic media about science (journals, newspapers, websites registered as media, scientific columns in media)" was awarded to Viktor Andriyovych Zhovtyanskyi, Mykhailo Romanovych Petryk, and Roman Mykhailovych Plyatsko for the series of publications "Highlighting the Contribution of Ivan Pulyui to World Science and Culture".
In the nomination "Best science program (radio and/or television projects broadcast on radio, TV channels and/or internet broadcasting), popular science film" – Oleksandr Ivanovych Laiku, Oleh Yevhenovych Rubel, and Ihor Oleksandrovych Halytsia for the cycle of TV programs "Popularization of Economic Science and Practice in Mass Media".
In the nomination "Best scientific educational project of the year (museum, exhibition, festival projects, lectures, scientific cafes, special (thematic) online projects, projects on social networks, podcasts, bloggers’ projects, projects of other formats that engage the general public (adults, children and schoolchildren, students) in scientific achievements through public events)" – Valentyn Anatoliyovych Chebanov, Larysa Dmytrivna Serostanova, and Margarita Yuriyivna Chernyakova for the project "Kharkiv Chemical Seminar".
The laureates of the Prize will be awarded a diploma and a cash reward at the annual session of the General Assembly of the NAS of Ukraine, which will take place on April 21-23 of this year.
In addition, the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine decided to recognize other participants of the competition for the NAS of Ukraine Prize "For the Popularization of Science" 2025. The honorary diploma of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of NAS of Ukraine employees was awarded to:
Mykola Yakovych Holovenko – for a series of popular science publications "From Neurons to Innovative Drugs: Modern Medicine and Intelligent Technologies in Simple Words"; Ruslan Viktorovych Kryvobok, Olena Volodymyrivna Rozova – for the series of publications "Science of KPI in the Media Lens"; Ihor Kostyantynovych Lyadskyi – for the publication "Kairos Management – the Art of Managing the Right Opportunity Every Day"; Volodymyr Kyrylovych Khaustov – for a series of publications about scientific developments and achievements "Science – the Driving Force of Ukraine’s Economic Development"; Ruslan Fluzovych Aminov – for the "Comprehensive Scientific and Educational Project for the Popularization of Science and Support of Young Scientists in Ukraine"; Oleksandr Yevhenovych Volkov – for the scientific educational project "Certified School for Training External UAV Pilots (Operators)"; Pavlo Vasylovych Kretov – for the scientific educational project "Philosophical Café" (Time. Space. Philosophy.); Taras Mykolayovych Ohorodnyk, Valentyna Oleksandrivna Mudrokha, Halyna Yaroslavivna Melnyk-Khokh – for the scientific educational project "Imago Ucrainæ on Maps of the 15th–20th Centuries".
