On March 12, 2026, Vice President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Radchenko participated in the ceremonial events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the State Institution "National Scientific Center 'M.D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology, Clinical and Regenerative Medicine' of the NAMS of Ukraine". On this occasion, a ceremonial meeting and the opening of the scientific-practical conference "Modern Technologies and Research in Cardiology" were held.
During the event, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Radchenko, on behalf of the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, congratulated the director of the M.D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology, academician of the NAMS of Ukraine Vladyslav Hryn and the staff of the institution on the anniversary. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the institutions of the NAS of Ukraine and medical science, particularly in the development of modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The Vice President of the NAS of Ukraine also presented leading employees of the institution with Honorary Certificates from the NAS of Ukraine and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of NAS of Ukraine Employees, as well as Letters of Appreciation from the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine.
The ceremonial events were also attended by the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the NAS and NAMS of Ukraine Vasyl Lazoryshynets, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, Medical Care and Medical Insurance Viktoriya Vagner, Commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General of the Medical Service Anatoliy Kazmyrchuk, President of the NGO "All-Ukrainian Association of Arrhythmologists of Ukraine" Oleh Sychov, and other representatives of the scientific and medical community.
The anniversary events provided an opportunity to recognize the significant contribution of the Institute of Cardiology to the development of medical science and to emphasize the importance of inter-academic cooperation for the advancement of modern research in the field of cardiology.
