Mathematician Iryna Chepurukhina: "You cannot do science halfway – you have to live it."

She knows that the hardest step in research is always the first. To girls interested in science, she advises just to keep moving forward despite fear. She is convinced that the visibility of female scientists is necessary to break the stereotype that science is supposedly not a woman's domain. About her joys and difficulties, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Irina Chepurukhina, a research fellow at the Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine, told the project "Her Scientific Story" of the Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine: - "I never had any doubts that mathematics is 'mine.'
