She is convinced that the visibility of female scientists is necessary to break the stereotype that science is supposedly not a woman's domain. About her joys and difficulties, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Irina Chepurukhina, a research fellow at the Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine, told the project "Her Scientific Story" of the Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine: - "I never had any doubts that mathematics is 'mine.' If the results are great, they are equally great for both women and men." - "You cannot do science halfway. You have to live it. On the days when inspiration comes, the rest of life is on pause."
