From October 5 to 9, 2026, the VIII International Conference "Welding and Related Technologies – 2026" (WRT 2026) will be held in Uzhhorod, dedicated to the latest achievements in the field of welding and related technologies. The event is organized by the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the NAS of Ukraine.
The conference will bring together scientists, engineers, industry representatives, lecturers, postgraduate students, and young researchers from Ukraine and other countries around the world to discuss current trends in the development of modern manufacturing, materials science, and industrial technologies.
The focus of WRT 2026 includes:
- modern technologies, materials, and equipment for welding;
- new structural and functional materials;
- additive manufacturing and 3D printing;
- non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics;
- special electrometallurgy;
- environmental and medical aspects of welding production;
- application of AI and smart technologies in industrial processes.
Key conference dates:
• submission of abstracts – by July 1, 2026;
• submission of full papers – by September 15, 2026;
