On May 26-27, 2026, the 20th All-Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Serhiy Gershenzon will be held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine.
The event will bring together young researchers working in the fields of modern biology, biotechnology, and related sciences, and will serve as a platform for presenting research results and professional discussion.
Participation in the conference is free. The event will be held in person (in the assembly hall of the Institute) with the option to join online.
Participants can choose:
- oral presentation;
- poster presentation;
- publication of abstracts.
The duration of the oral presentation is up to 10 minutes with a presentation, followed by up to 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
Conference language
- abstracts are accepted exclusively in English;
- presentations and posters can be presented in Ukrainian or English.
The tentative scientific program includes the following sections:
- molecular biology and bioorganic chemistry;
- biotechnology;
- genetics and epigenetics;
- molecular oncology;
- general biology;
- microbiology;
- bioinformatics and systems biology;
- molecular physiology and biophysics.
The final list of sections will be published in the conference program.
