On April 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the regular meeting of the interdisciplinary general academic seminar in the field of natural sciences "Current Issues of Physico-Chemical and Mathematical Biology" with the report "Calixarenes as Stimulators of Muscle Contraction Energy" will speak the Deputy Director and Head of the Muscle Biochemistry Department of the O.V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Kosterin.

The purpose of the general academic seminar is the periodic listening to and discussion of scientific reports dedicated to the application of modern experimental and theoretical methods of chemistry, physics, and mathematics to solve urgent problems of biology, particularly in the fields of biochemistry, biophysics, molecular and cellular biology, molecular physiology, bioenergetics, genomics, medical biology, pharmacology, nanobiotechnology, systems and synthetic biology, etc. The seminar also focuses on issues that lie at the "intersection" of biological and social problems.
