After the coronavirus pandemic, the world has still not returned to full confidence. New viruses are emerging, old diseases are reminding themselves, and people are increasingly asking how truly protected they are.
What real infectious threats exist for the world and Ukraine today, why COVID-19 continues to circulate, why vaccination schedules are updated, what happens when vaccination rates drop, and whether forgotten diseases can return? To understand these important and relevant questions, the new episode of the program "About Science. Competently," which is released on the YouTube channel of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, features the director of the "L.V. Hromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the NAMN of Ukraine," corresponding member of the NAMN of Ukraine, Victoria Zadorozhna.
The author and host of the program is the vice-president of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Volodymyr Seminozhenko.
