Shapovalov Eugene Borisovich began research in 2011 at the National University of Food Technology. In 2013 he received a qualification in the field of "Ecology, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Nature Management". In 2014 he received a master's degree in "Ecology and Environmental Protection", and in 2015 he qualified as a specialist in "Business Economics".
In 2020 he received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the field of "Biotechnology", defending his dissertation on "Improvement of biotechnology of anaerobic fermentation of chicken manure with a reduced amount of effluent.": http://dspace.nuft.edu.ua/jspui/handle/123456789/30574
Since 2013 he has been working at the National Center "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", where he performed research work in the areas of creating modern ontological tools and the use of information tools in the framework of STEM-education.
He is an active public figure. He was the chairman of the scientific university organization "Ecoclub", a member of the public organization "Foundation of Regional Renewal Initiatives", and is a member of the board of the public organization "Platform of European Studies for Sustainable Development".
Participated in Erasmus Jean Monnet international projects "Expanding European Union research on smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in Ukrainian universities", "Policy, regulation and best practices on sustainable food production and consumption in the European Union", "Tools, policies and best practices" on environmental protection in the European Union ".
Since 2020 he has been working at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and continues his scientific activity at the National Center "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine".
