Summary:Колективна монографія присвячена актуальним проблемам адсорбції: розширенню теорії Дубиніна щодо адсорбції речовин з розчинів, застосуванню імерсійної калориметрії у теорії Дубиніна та електрохімії, розвитку механізму сорбції речовин різного походження на активованому вугіллі та полімерних адсорбентах. В книзі розглянуто питання щодо конверсії відходів у сорбенти для очистки стічних вод від важких металів, досягнення зарубіжних учених у галузі дослідження сорбційних властивостей вуглецевих матеріалів по відношенню до енергетичних газів (водню та метану), дослідження поруватої структури сорбентів різної природи тощо.

Summary:Collective monograph is devoted to actual problems of adsorption: the extension of Dubinin’s theory to adsorption from aqueous, applications of immersion calorimetry in Dubinin’s theory and electrochemistry, the development of sorption mechanism for substances of different genesis on activated carbon and polymeric adsorbents. In the book it is examined the question concerning waste conversion into adsorbents for sewages purification from heavy metals, the achievements of foreign scientists in the field of investigation for sorption properties of carbon materials toward energetic gases (hydrogen and methane), the investigation of porous structure for sorbents of various genesis too.
