Title: | New methods of production of hybrid nanomaterials based on mixtures of anisotropic nanoparticles (carbon nanotubes and laponite nanoplatelets) and stabilization of their characteristics were developed. |
Type of product: | Release of new product: material |
Description: | Principles of production of hybrid materials based on the mixtures of anisotropic nanoparticles (carbon nanotubes and laponite nanoplatelets) were established. The structural parameters, the physicochemical properties of these materials and methods of their stabilization were identified. |
Technical advantages: | Hybrid suspensions (nanofluidic systems) are based on the mixtures of carbon nanotubes and nanoplatelets and are technically promising for the development of effective sorbents (including membranes) to remove contaminants from the water and production of high-quality inks for micro-jet printing. These hybrids combine synergetic effects related with high aspect ratio of carbon nanoparticles and high adsorption and plasticize capacity of laponite. The developed unique hybrids have no analogues in the world. |
The economic benefits: | The hybrid systems are based on the available reagents, materials and simple technological methods for their production. |
The impact on the environment. Environment: | Methods of production of hybrid syspensions and materials (membranes and nano-inks) are uses the green and non-toxic solvents, non-flammable and non-volatile substances. |
