Title: | Solvent free polymer matrix and technology of producing nonporous thermostable carbon plastics thereof |
Type of product: | Release of new product: material |
Description: | High performance matrix and technology of producing of
nonporous carbon plastics with high thermal and physical-mechanical properties without using solvents have been developed on the base of conventional EDT-69N matrix. The novel method of 3D polymer structure forming and nanostructuring have been applied. |
Technical advantages: | Low dielectric loss, operability in extremal conditions (high temperature, high humidity). Carbon plastics developed demonstrate physical-mechanical characteristics similar to that for the best analogs from EU and USA. The plastics keep > 60 % of mechanical strength at T=150 С compared to the value at ambient temperature. Varying of polymer composition allows providing operating temperatures up to 200-250 С (long-term) and up to 300-350 С (short-term). |
The economic benefits: | Final articles of manufacture from novel product will have much higher service life compared to conventional fabrics of similar application that provides economic benefits of commercialization of the results of R&D project.
