Founded in 1976, Electron Beam Welding Department of PWI brings advanced technology
and equipment from the laboratory to industry for materials processing applications.
|
| We are leader in developing: |
- high stability EBW equipment with special electron tube flashless system
- defectfree closing of circumferential welds on the steel 250 mm thickness
- real time Windows® NT PC-based EB welding control
- real time automatic seam tracking system.
|
| Main activity |
- R&D of EBW technology for aerospace, power engineering, high pressure
vessels, car and ship building, sensor and electronics industries.
Thickness of welded materials from 0.05 mm up to 250 mm for
steels, 400 mm for Ti- and Al-alloys
- development and manufacturing of the new and refurbished EBW machines, their
introduction into operation, training of the attending personnel
|
| Products |
- machines with vacuum chamber volume from 0.1m3 up to 80 m3.
These vacuum chambers are welded by electron beam in our 12×7×5 m machine
- machines for EBW in local vacuum of cut-in elements, longitudinal and circumferential butts of the large diameter shells
- cycle type machines for welding of gear components
- machines for bimetallic saw blades strip continuous EBW
- continuous trimetallic stripwelder (St.St + Invar +St.St)
- real time automatic seam tracking system
- electron beam analyzer ( as "Diabeam")
- EBW guns and power supplies with flashless system:
60 kV - 3, 15, 30 and 60 kW
