Title: | Laws of influence of alloying aluminum and chromium oxide on the surface condition, structure and processes of formation of nanoparticles stabilized with yttrium zirconia. |
Type of product: | |
Description: | The alloying aluminum oxide or chromium in an amount of 0.1 and 0.3 ml. % Leads to a decrease in the temperature of crystallization of nanoparticles of zirconia and increase their average size. Further increase in concentration of both dopants leads to reduction of the nanoparticles and enhancing their temperature crystallization. The presence of surface cations of chromium leads to the formation of active oxygen on the surface of nanoparticles, the amount of which is proportional to the concentration of modifying admixture. Nonmonotonous change the surface characteristics of the nanoparticles on the concentration of the alloying element found in the study of NMR and EPR. We found that the number of paramagnetic centers reaches a maximum at 1.0 ml. % chromium oxide, indicating a change of the surface charge states cations depending on the concentration of the alloying element. |
