Title: | Multilayer Structures of Barium Hexaferrite for Systems of High Density Magnetic Recording |
Type of product: | Improving the quality of products |
Description: | For the first time, nanoscale multilayer structures of M-type barium hexaferrite (BHF) have been prepared, which magnetic properties (including coercivity) can be purposefully controlled. |
Technical advantages: | A method of producing thin films of M-type barium hexaferrite (HFB) has been proposed, which can increase the homogeneity, density of film, decrease the number of deposited layers of film-forming solution and prevents the formation of non-magnetic phase – hematite (gamma-Fe2O3), which significantly reduces the saturation magnetization. The resulting dense thin films of M-type barium hexaferrite (HFB) are promising for producing films for magnetic recording of high density, low noise, as well as for microwave devices. |
The economic benefits: | The method of preparation of thick films based on M-type barium hexaferrite by screen printing has been developed, which allows the high-quality films with high magnetic characteristics to be prepared using cheap initial reagents (powder and organic precursors). This could results in reducing energy consumption and reducing costs of industrial dielectric resonators based on them. |
