Title: | Methods for the synthesis of complexes of palladium(II) with aminodiphosphonic acids. |
Type of product: | New biologically active complexes of palladium(II) with aminophosphonic acids. |
Description: | The stability of equimolar and bisligand complexes, which are formed by interaction between K2[PdCl4] and alpha-aminodiphosphonic acids, has been determined as a function of pH and with allowance for the presence of coordinated ligands and chlorine anions in them. It has been shown that the stability of complexes increases with the basicity of amine group nitrogen atom in the alpha-aminodiphosphonic acid series. The dependence of the mode of coordination of aminodiphosphonic acids on the position of amine group relative to the bisphosphonate center has been established. In the case of complexes of palladium with alpha-aminosiphosphonic acids, ligand is coordinated to the central ion by amine group nitrogen atom and phosphonic group oxygen atom, and in the complexes of palladium with 3-amino-1-hydroxypropylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid two oxygen atoms of phosphonic groups take part in coordination. |
