Description: | Colorimetric and fluorimetric sensor systems for detection of phenol, aflatoxin B1, erythromycin, ibuprofen, creatinine, and triazine herbicides based on nanostructured MIP membranes, synthesized using methods of in situ and grafting polymerization, provide highly-selective and sensitive detection of corresponding analytes (detection limits for different biosensors are 1-2000 nM). |
Technical advantages: | The developed product provides significantly much more sensitive (up to 10-100 times) and highly-selective analysis as compared to existing in Ukraine and in the world methods of detection of small organic molecules, i.e. phenols, aflatoxins, pharmaceuticals, and triazine herbicides (chromatographic and immunochemical methods). The sensor system for creatinine detection provides much more selective analysis as compared to traditional analytical methods with similar detection limit. The developed sensor systems don’t change their physicochemical properties and ability to selective recognition of the analytes for 1-2 years at room temperature. |
The economic benefits: | The price of one analysis with the proposed sensor systems based on nanostructured molecularly imprinted polymer membranes does not exceed 2 USD, which is significantly lower as compared to existing analytical methods. |
