Instrument Designing & Engineering Bureau

Correspondent member Vitaly A. Ivanov - Director of Instrument Designing & Engineering Bureau of Marine Hydrophysical Institute

Engineers - 39 Technician - 3

Special Design and Technological Bureau carries out works on elaboration and producing test and experimental species of new engineering and technological means of measuring for scientific and experimental researches of World ocean.

Basic directions

Development, production, elaboration, repair and maintenance of hydrophysical, hydrometeorological devices;
Production of equipment for the organizations and enterprises of the city;
Research of the areas where coast-supporting constructions are required.

Results

Hydrological Hydrochemical Sounder ISTOK-7M

Sealevel Meter

Hydrological Chemical Microprobe Microzond - 5M

Current Meter

Autonomous Seagrapth - Wavegraph ASW-1

Shelf Meter of Current Velocity SMCV-01
VACUUM GENERATOR VG-600-3

Vacuum generator VG-600-3 is intended for creating rarefaction at sucking of liquids of different consistencies from wounds and opened cavities in surgical operations, and also in some therapeutic cases.
The device is operatively commuted to the mode of emergency feed from an automobile accumulator if basic feed disappears.
The device is small and can be to be used in ambulatory and field conditions at the air temperature from +10° to +35°Ñ.

Production of ecologically pure, natural drinking-water
Plant for water purification

Production of water is based on the equipment developed and produced in Instrument Designing & Engineering Bureau. Water is taken from the artesian well ¹5548 located directly on the territory of the enterprise. Development of the equipment and construction of the whole technological system of purification process and water bottling included a long-term experience of the enterprise in research and application of various ways of water purification and application of various filtering materials and sorbets. As a result optimum system of purification was obtained that permitted to produce water not only with the irreproachable quality but also with additional features favorable for a man organism.

Sublimation
Essence of the sublimation method is to remove water from a frozen product in the vacuum conditions at low temperatures. Features of the sublimated products:
• High quality (features and quality of fresh products are practically completely preserves: color, fragnance, proteins, fat, vitamins etc.);
• Long terms of storage (1 - 5 years) in unregulated conditions (no cold and other special measures);
• Small weight: 0.1 – 0.25 of primary weight;
• The product restored by simple addition of water.
The investigations show that the ration of feed consisting of sublimated products kept during 1-2 years is similar to that of fresh products.
The following products can be sublimated: fruit, vegetables, their mixtures; borsch, soups, porridges, sprat, filet of pike perch and other fishes, dried milk, curd and cheese (up to 9% fat, beef as stuffing and pieces, beet, carrot, onion, potato, dill etc. Fruits, berries: apples, strawberry, raspberry etc.
In Russia and Ukraine non-production sublimation drying chambers are produced on demand. The price of such a chamber is 200 - 700 thousand USA dollars. Productivity of a chamber is 200 - 1500 kg per day.
Drying sets can be made two- and three-module including common phase of preparation of raw material, packing of the dried product and pumping.
The price of a one-chamber drying set with the line of preparation of raw material and packing of dried products makes 140000 $ USA. During a round-the-clock operation of a mini-plant about 50 workplaces are created.
