SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:

Rhabditids and Strongylids Nematodes - parasites of vertebrates, their taxonomy and phylogeny. Parasites of stock (horses, cattle and sheep) and game animals and their control. Problems of helminths resistance to drugs. Using predator fungi against parasitic nematodes.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Master degree: Kyiv State University; Biological Sciences, June 1982.

Candidate of biological sciences degree (= doktorat): K.I. Skrjabin All-Union Institute of Helminthology , 18 November 1987, Moscow, USSR. Diploma: candidate of biological sciences; specialization: helminthology.

Doctor Habilitate degree: W.Stefanski Institute of Parasitology of Polish Academy of Sciences, 14 March 2003, Warsaw, Poland. Diploma: Doctor Habilitate; specialization: parasitology.

1. Fauna, morphology and taxonomy of adult and larval stages of domestic and wild horses strongylids.

2. Monitoring of parasitological situation among large game animals in Ukrainian reservations.
