Established on June 25, 2003.

Its principal lines of research are:

- developing and up-grading immune ferment test systems for diagnostics of current human and animal diseases on the basis of state-of-the-art biotechnology;

- producing reference panels for standardization of laboratory diagnostics of current infections by means of immunoenzime and molecular-genetic research methods;

- developing express immune chromatography tests for diagnostics of infectious diseases, that do not require special equipment.

Main achievements and developments:

New immunoenzyme test-systems have been developed for detecting several human and animal diseases, e.g., AIDS, hepatitis, ‘bird flu’ etc. Standard panels to evaluate sensitivity and specificity of test-systems have been produced.
