- acoustics of the ocean;

- the theory of linear operators and integral equations.

A new research trend has been started – information hydroacoustics. Its principles are the basis for fundamental and applied studies in the fields of continuum dynamics, instrument-making, environment safety, forecasting and preventing emergencies, development of remote systems for environment monitoring, protection of coastal zones and engineering structures.
