Summary:Монографію присвячено принципово новому напряму в біології, медицині та сільському господарстві – вивченню механізмів оновлення (програмованого життя клітини) і кріооновлення (програмованого життя охолодженої і кріоконсервованої клітини), що за значущістю порівнянні лише з апоптозом (програмованою загибеллю клітини), оскільки є його противагою. Обґрунтовується основоположна думка про те, що в основі здоров’я та довголіття лежить зсув динамічної взаємодії різноспрямованих процесів – апоптоза і кріооновлення у бік кріооновлення.

Summary:The monograph presents a brand new trend in biotechnology, medicine and agriculture, which is a study of the mechanisms of renewal (programmed life of the cell) and cryorenewal (programmed life of the cooled and cryopreserved cell), the importance of which may be compared only with apoptosis (programmed death of the cell), since both serve as its counterbalance. The authors give grounds to their basic belief on the state of health and longevity to be strongly dependent on the shift in the dynamic interactions of the alternate processes – apoptosis and cryorenewal – towards cryorenewal.
The monograph may be of particular interest for biologists, medical workers, stock- and plant-breeders, dealing with treatment of fatal illness and prolongation of life, raising of quality breed in all generations, production of improved meat-packing, liquor, fish and crop goods and selected “cryorenewed” seeds
